Governor Quinn,

As an Illinois constituent and American Heart Association and American Stroke Association volunteer, I want to thank you for signing HB 2244 into law, which provides emergency response and treatment of stroke in our state.

Too many Illinois citizens suffer and die from stroke. With this law, we will not only be a national leader in stroke awareness, but will provide faster, more efficient care to those who suffer from this disease.

Thank you again for making stroke a priority in Illinois.
