The Keystone XL pipeline project proposed by TransCanada Corp. of Alberta will greatly benefit North American energy security and production. The crude oil pipeline is an approximate 1,661 miles that will begin in Hardisty, Alberta and serve markets all the way down to Cushing, Oklahoma. It will continue to a delivery point near existing terminals in Nederland, TX to serve the Port Arthur marketplace.

Keystone XL will provide a long-term, stable energy supply to the U.S., improve our national security, create jobs and spur economic growth. The pipeline will provide more than 700,000 barrels of Canadian oil each day to US markets--increasing oil flow from a safe and reliable source. The project will also drive incredible economic growth in the United States. The pipeline is expected to create nearly 20,000 manufacturing and construction jobs in the United States, as well as provide more than $5.2 billion in tax revenue to the Keystone XL corridor states.

Please take action and send a letter to the U.S. Department of State in support of the Keystone XL pipeline project.
