Oppose the Sweetened Beverage Tax

Proposals in the House to implement a new tax on sugared beverages are being circulated as a mechanism to fund healthcare reform.  This kind of tax does nothing to actually solve the types of problems it is expressly aimed at.  Prevention of obesity is not achieved by taxing the consumer. Please contact your Representative to let them know you oppose this proposal.
