The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) advocates public policy positions on both the Federal and State level, that accelerate progress toward cures for leukemia, Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma.
The aim of LLS's advocacy program is to improve the quality of life of those with blood cancer, their friends and families.
The following federal ampaigns link will provide information on LLS's legislative priorities for the first session of the 111th Congress, aimed at accomplishing that goal.
On the state level LLS is currently leading four primary state campaigns and supporting five other state coalition-based efforts. In each of these state campaigns, via the link below, LLS and its coalition partners are seeking legislation that would increase access to cancer clinical trials.
