We Need You!

Aetna wants to be a part of the solution -- and you can help.

The health insurance industry will continue to face serious legislative and regulatory challenges in 2009 and beyond as our nation looks to reform the way that Americans access and pay for health care. Aetna has a solid plan and has been working closely with legislators, policy makers, regulators, physicians, hospitals, non-profits and others to share ideas to fix our broken health care system. We're active in discussions and key meetings in both state legislatures and in Washington D.C., but we can't do it alone.

You, the constituents of the elected officials that will shape our future, have an important voice in this debate. Your letter, e-mail, phone call or personal visit to your legislator will make a critical difference in the votes being cast that will shape our industry and the nation's future.

We invite you to join ACAN to learn about the issues and enable you to make your voice heard!

Reform Must Address Costs and Quality   (12/18/2009)

Health care reform legislation right now fails to adequately address health care quality issues and rapidly rising costs, which could have serious unintended consequences.  Tell Congress it still has an opportunity to fix health reform legislation and should be fostering new delivery system reforms and greater transparency.
